Belize Nursing Home

Belize Estate Corporation began as a mahogany logging outpost in the late 1880’s. The British owners operated it until the mid-1950’s and they sold off the portion known as Banana Bank. The current owners purchased the property in 1973.

 

John Carr, who is one of the owners, has always had a current concern for the elderly for the past 20 years and feels the need for a nursing home in Belize.

 

While there are several small governments supported assisted living facilities there are no known private nursing home centers.

 

John Carr and his staff have coupled with a beautiful location and gave birth to the current Belize Riverview Nursing Home facility.

 

 

The intention is to expand the facility and increase services. We emphasize non-boredom, healthy food, exercise, beautiful surroundings, people that like to coddle and touch and in general make an elder person's day into the happiest experience possible.
